Cookie Policy

The short version: enough to keep you signed in and remember how you like the app. No advertising, no tracking networks, nothing sold.

A clear product draft, published so you know what we store. It is not legal advice and is pending professional review.

What we store

Coursity uses cookies and equivalent browser storage (localStorage) for a small, specific set of jobs. Every item below is either required for the platform to work or a convenience that only affects your own device.

  • Authentication — the session that keeps you signed in between pages and visits. Set by Supabase Auth. Without it you would sign in on every click.
  • Language — which of English, Arabic or French you are reading, so the site opens in the right one.
  • Appearance — light or dark, and whether the workspace sidebar is collapsed.
  • Schedule view — whether My Lessons opens as a list or a calendar, per device.
  • This notice — the fact that you have seen it, so it appears once.
  • Error reporting — if Sentry is enabled on this deployment, a short-lived identifier that lets one crash report be linked to the pages around it.

What we don't do

  • No advertising cookies, and no advertising networks.
  • No cross-site tracking, and no sale or sharing of personal data with data brokers.
  • No third-party analytics profiles built from your browsing.
  • Nothing in browser storage is used to make decisions about your account, your money or your lessons — those all live server-side.

Your control

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data, usually under Privacy or Site settings. Coursity works with the optional items cleared — you will simply be asked for your language and appearance again.

Clearing the authentication cookie signs you out. That is the one item the platform cannot function without, because it is what proves a request is yours.

Changes

If we add anything to this list we will publish a new version of this policy. Where a change is material we will ask you to acknowledge it again inside the app rather than relying on you noticing this page.

Questions
